Working and Playing

Saturday In Pictures
The day began with getting hay
We make cool play areas in the winter for
our guests with the hay
We have two wolf hybrids staying with us for a few weeks
It is amazing to listen to them talking
Hopefully we can get them on video for you
You will feel like you are out in the wilderness
listening to the music of the forest.
They are so sweet yet there is a wild spirit
that appeals to the very deepest part of our souls.
Sweet Cat has been here two weeks
and is ready to go home
She misses her family.
Dakota is as crazy today as the day he came.
He is super playful.
After work, me, Abby, Scrappy and
Willa got to go over
to Goose's house to play.
He is the best host ever.
Willa loves playing at Goose's.  She gets to go
and get any toy she wants out of Goose's toy box.
Me, well I get to play ball, again and again and again.
That Michelle sure has a good throwing arm
and a great back yard to throw it in.
Michelle pulled out this bubble making thing.
I didn't get it, but Goose, he LOVES it.
You should go over to Goose's Site (Click Here)
and check out how
awesome of a day we had.
I was tired and way thirsty but so afraid
someone would come and take my ball
But it is ok.
I handled it.

Have a wonderful Sunday everyone
Bert

Bert, You are too much! You just go and go and go. And then you somehow drink water with a ball in your mouth. Wow!

Love the bubbles. I'm going to visit Goose. And, thanks for the photo of sweet Willa. She's so lucky that you and Vickie had her join your family.

Bwahahaha! You drinking without letting go of the ball is great! I usually bury toys when I want a short break, but am afraid someone will steal them.

Again, great photos and great fun!

The doctor I worked for in Alaska had a wolf hybrid--She made me a little nervous and she knew it, so I had to stay away from her...

There is so much fun going on in this post I don't even know what to say other than...FUN! How cool that you got to go for a play date. I LOVE your "keep the ball safe" technique. Hey, water flows over a ball as easily as a tongue. You've got to do what you have to do.

Bert. I bow to your superior problem solving skills. The tennis ball / water bowl. Yes! Why didn't I think of that?

Dexter

Thanks for the tip on drinking water and still holding onto the ball. Mom likes the header pic too. Yup, that Michelle can really throw a ball. All the dogs in the county talk about it!

Bert, that picture of you and your water and your ball made Mom smile so much! Our great brother Booter used to do that - it brought back a lot of wonderful memories!!!
Dave and I would love to hear the wolf hybrids talking! I might even be able to translate a little for you. I was taught to sing by the coyotes, before Stormy taught me the ways of the Siberian, so I might understand a few howls here and there!

Hi Bert, I think it is wonderful that you are providing a safe haven for the wolves. Did you know there is a Wolf Sanctuary in Fort Collins that is very cool. I have a friend that works there. I also wanted to ask your Vickie what site she gets your headers on-they are so beautiful and festive.
Happy Day.

I remember reading this caption of a dog holding a ball in his mouth with the background in the picture of a vet clinic. It said, I'm holding on to this one because the last time I went in, I lost two of my balls.

Oh Bert,

You're so funny, not even leaving your ball to have a drink!!

I was trying to mind my bone the other day when Cosmo was here, but I fell asleep in the end and he swooped in!! Doh!!

You've got lots of awesome friends buddy :)

Your pal Snoopy :)

Ha, I do that with my ball too!
Looking forward to seeing more about those wolf hybrids, love the howls!

What a good idea...drink with the toy still in your mouth! I take my toy to the pond and stop for a drink and then forget about it. Mom thinks that if we ever drain the pond, we will find about 87,000 toys down there!
